Thanks for asking carol, he's great. Went to visit him yesterday up in Millburn NJ and he's 13 1/2 lbs. BIG baby for just over 5 weeks.

More seedlings transplanted and I need to make more gardens now for all the rest.
Kale, my favorite veggie now is coming up nicely. The rain really greened things up fast.

Lindsey's show registration was accepted and our plan is to attend Sussex this weekend. Hoping to have fun. I appreciate your offer for the heat lamp. I'll send you pics of Linz and me so you can pick us out if the crowd. Linz will be puttering around on her bright red electric scooter. My cell is 845xx546xx2253.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers day! Mine was quiet, since I chose not to drive to Floral Park to my SIL's just to not have fun then drive home...Good decision. I stayed home, worked in the gardens and had a rather relaxing day.

My husband scored BIG with the Pandora charm this holiday. He got me the CHICKEN CHARM!! It's really cute.

On another note, Danny has named my BCM chick, "Sweet Brown". And "ain't nobody got time for that!"

The kids can't call her without cracking up.

I am enjoying married life! Had a busy mother's day - my mother came for lunch and my younger brother came down from Saugerties with his two kids. We had a great time, but it was a lot of work! The kids (9 and 5) loved the chickens, especially the new babies.

My brother told me they love love love the crocheted chicks I sent them for Easter. I'm going to make them each another one. Makes me feel good to know they enjoy them.

I had a hard time sleeping last night. Don't know why. I passed out on the couch at 9 and was still exhausted when I got into bed an hour later, but I just couldn't get comfortable. Woke this morning with a bad headache, too. I hate starting my day like that.

I'm hoping to get some yard cleanup done today. It looks like Sandy just happened in my backyard!

Awwww I love that charm, my husband showed it to me and it was sold out. He got me the heart cherry clasp and a flower watering can. I feel like the charms are getting better and better with the new releases. So personal and fun. Glad you like your chicken

Hello everyone. Happy Belated Mothers day to all. What a productive weekend. Got my coop started finally, and harvested some beautiful greens out of my garden, Got my first batch of fresh strawberries, arugula, mesclin and spinach. for a nice healthy salad. The arugula is growing like crazy. Is it better to keep cutting it or just let it keep growing and only cut what I need?
