I bought some rabbit water bottles today because Henny penny keeps filling the chick waterer with dirt I'm cleaning it out like 5 times a day. Hopefully the chicks will learn to use them so the always have a second source of water. Now I need to figure out how to keep her from dumping the feed. Lol

Too bad the broody mamas simply MUST scratch it out of the feeder and throw it all over the place.
That's how the chicks learn how to eat.

Ok I'm losing my mind, or what's left of it. My lawn is being over run with white clover. Everyday there's more of it. I hate it.

My 10 juvies are so much more friendly then my older girls. It is so fun to watch them when the day cools off and they start roaming around the yard. They each have their little clicks. Omega 3 who's quickly becoming this gentle giant won't leave firecrackers (the bantam frizzle) side.. And the rose comb bantam whom I've named Tarzan insists on jumping onto my chair to screech at me. She truly sounds like something out of the jungle. And the Russian Orloff, Flattop, is one very weird looking bird.

So, this morning there's no more hatchings. Is it possible for more to hatch today? Yesterday was day 20, today is 21, so hopefully I'll have some more new peeps today. The babies are SO SWEET.

I want to bury my face in the tiny fluffiness.
