Hello to everyone. Sorry I have not been around in awhile. Seems like life ties all your spare time up.

The temp really drooped here last night. it was a raw 14 degrees. But the girls do well as always. No heat and still all the ventilation opened. They are tough little buggers aren't they.

Roberta, I have been trying to get Marans to add to the flock. I love the dark shells. I would love to take a few of your culls. If you have any extras please keep me in mind also. They would mix well with my flock.

I'll make a list, I'll keep hatching, as long as I can get rid of them.
I have 8 babies right now, and about another 20 in the bator.
Figure roughly half are roos.....
This morning, I washed and put into the fridge another bunch, because I don't have room.
Gotta get that big bator going!

I have room for 5 or 6 more in the coop. Marans are at the top of my need list then come the Easter Eggers.
