I replaced the blue tarp on the run roof with clear plastic that I stapled on and getting 5 eggs a day from 7 hens. They are getting more sun light with the clear plastic. Watch now that I said it, I wont get any!

I wish there was an easy way to keep a rooster quiet so I could breed them.

Hey when you end up with some roosters you don't want
how do you get rid of them? Can you take them to a local
butcher or something? I don't think I could do it myself.
I suppose I could dump them off in the woods hahaha j/k.
It's just I want to hatch some eggs and I don't know how
to get rid of them Roos.

I found a farm by me that sells eggs and has chickens everywhere & they don't eat them. Look around & ask around...it's possible. I've gotten rid of plenty of roos.

I work with a kid, he feeds his family.
Horrible thing to think of, but puts a smile on his face.
And his sister is real good at the deed, he told us.
Just a part of having chickens. Roosters.

And if you want to "rent a roo" I can bring one over for a stud service..
