That's wonderful. I was watching the View this morning, and Michelle Obama was on discussing her backyard garden with the ladies. I wanted to shout out, "Hey! You need chickens too!" Apparently they have a bee hive. I had a brainstorm in the shower just now about starting a gardening / chicken program at a prison. Teaching prisoners to garden might go a long way in giving them ways to learn patience, kindness, gratitude, success, you name it. Plus the great thing about gardening is that any mistakes you make just go into the compost pile and become a part of next year's successes.
