OOOH! Is it hot in here? Whew. I need some ice water!!

But they left out a few of my favorites.
Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Aaron Rodgers, and Clay Matthews. I might just need to make my own fantasy team...

Good morning everyone.
Are ya all sick of this humidity like I am yet????Yuck....give me fall already. Our building plans  on hold at times now due to rainand needing to paiont etc.
My day to go out fishing on a boat is dissapearing with everything else we need to do before tom goes back to work.:( guess I should be thankful for what we've gotten done at this point already .

Today will be a busy day and hopefully a productive one.

My little peeps are growing up fast. The almost 4 week old EE pops out of his little cage door now and flies right up to my shoulder. I love this colorful little guy and if it's a roo I am just gonna scream.Such personality. I enjoy theoir differences, but every now and then 1 just rises above the rest in friendliness and he is it out of this group. Way too sweet.

Made arrangements for a cuckoo marans roo new home when ever I am ready to see him go. Pretty bird and a shame.
Will wait a few more weeks and see if the EE and possibly a blue orp are roos as well. The 2 little white silkies will take a few months before I know for sure.

Anyone familiar with Cream Legbars? I love the notion that you can sex these blue egg layers as young chicks. No guessing for months as to which are the baby roos. Anybody know of any breeders in the NY-NJ-CT-MA-PA area? I'm thinking about getting eggs or pullets next spring...

That's sounds so wonderful! I hated spending months eyeballing my chickens suspiciously wondering of any were boys. Lucy STILL looks like a boy, but at 19 weeks old, she still hasn't crowed, so hopefully she's just a little tomboyish.

I've never seen Cream Legbars advertised by any local people around here, but you never know. The guy I got my chickens from doesn't have any in the fall/winter-but he can get anything you want, come February.

Tina I checked out the breed last night when I couldn't sleep. Do you think they would have problems with frostbite with such large combs? They are beautiful birds, maybe next year?

Good morning everyone! It's supposed to be a GORGEOUS day! I'm going food shopping then I'll be doing some yard work to start my fall clean up. (If you saw my yard-the disaster it is-you'd understand why I have to start now!) My boys all have football tonight-my little man is scrimmaging our arch enemies, the Colts, tonight, so that should be fun-I have many friends with kids on the colts, so it'll be social time.

I missed the Giants/cowboys game-fell asleep in the second quarter, which I'm grateful for-haven't slept well as of late-so getting some good sleep was needed.

My two oldest were late this morning to school-it seems their bus driver is notoriously late, and I've got to make a phone call-my kids were freaking out-in texts to me. They shouldn't be missing the beginning of first period every single day. Especially my son who has spanish, which he's terrible in to begin with!!

Have a great day, everyone!!

Well it is a great day...my BOYS came to town and spanked the giants in their own house.
Yes Rosie much better choice catching up on some sleep instead of watching the second half...
I've been a Cowboys fan since before I could walk. Everyone in my family had their team and my grandmother lived in Dallas so that's how I picked my team years ago.. Have stuck with them ever since. Nothing better then watching men in spandex for several hours they don't need to take off their shirts for me I know what's under there.
Let the season begin....

It was good to see the Giants take one. I have been a Jets and not as much, a Bills fan, for my whole life, so I'm no fan of Big Blue. It's all about Gang Green for me. I'm gonna be a happy girl on Sunday, While I'd love to see a Jet's win, I'd be pretty happy with a Bills win I guess.

Jets used to play at Shea Stadium-I'm a Queens girl, so there you have my loyalties-Jets and Mets.

I remember watching football as a girl with my parents-who knew nothing about it. My mother asked me "What's a tight end". When they lined up...I told her..."THAT is a tight end" She said "Oh, well, ok, I see"

Mom was a pip.
