Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

I just got home and I had to post. When I walked in the yard, I saw Agatha enjoying an afternoon snack IN THE COOP and Gladys heading up the ladder to roost IN THE COOP!!! Bless their little chicken hearts!

Bobby checked on them a couple of times today and said they seem to be getting along great. At one point he said they were both up on the perches in the coop "chatting". A real hen party! (I think they were plotting against the dog...)

Happy dance

Thanks so much, Roberta. I love Aggie and I'm so glad Gladys has some companionship. Next up: coop expansion and feathering up the babies so they can join the flock.

Everyone at BYC was so helpful in "resetting" Gladys's homing instinct. I had my doubts, but it worked! (I hope it worked and it's not just the rainy weather.)

Got good news at school today. I'll be taking a half year leave replacement in January and will get my medical benefits back.

More happy dance

This is what I found when I came home after my tutoring appointment.

Not to mention the tutoring cash! Yeah, it was a good day. And I'm not working today, so I have the whole day to play with the girls.
