Trish, I checked up on vintage organic. This is the company that makes it. http://www.organicfeedmill.com/Products.php

They make a regular line! which I believe includes soy, and a soy free line of chicken feed. Not sure which one you have but I would think it would say soy free on the bag.

Ok, so I go to the opthamologist and the ENT today. The opthamologist has me follow his finger and sees the defect as soon as I say I see double, but has no clue what is causing the double vision to occur. He orders blood tests. The ENT does the endoscopy on my sinuses and says they are probably not causing the eye problem. They are a little inflamed. But nothing he would not expect to see in me. The antibiotic is doing its job, so no problem there. Tomorrow I see the rheumatologist. Next, probably, will be a neurologist if this does not clear up. The brain and sinus scan were both pretty much good, so there is nothing caught on film that is reason enough for this.

Anyone have any suggestions or possible diagnosis. This is getting freaky.

Hey Al......my hubby's an MD if you want to PM me the details of your history I'd be glad to run it by him, or better yet you can make an appointment to see him. He's an internist with a sub specialty of infectious disease and the best diagnostician I've ever met.

Good to know! What scares me, my hubby had some kind of autoimmune thing going on a few years back. If he didn't go to the eye dr, he might be blind right now. Nobody else could figure it out, everyone referred us to Stony Brook Hospital. Well, there was a convention that week, the whole dept was out.....
What did the eye doc find?
I got nothing, except I hope you have health ins.

We added a nesting area to the coop today, and another foot of roosting space. Plus the run has another 1-1/2 feet or so of height under the nesting box. Next up, adding another couple of feet to the height of the other side of the run and installing tree branch perches. That should make Gladys happy!

So here's today's update: We worked on the coop until about 3:40 this afternoon. I had a tutoring client at 4. Bobby asked if I was going to lure the girls into the coop before I left. I told him they would go in on their own. (Unshakable confidence there.) On my way home, I got a text from Mr. "You're on Your Own" telling me Gladys and Agatha had gone into the coop on their own. He went to check on them and found them snuggled in the roost having a little girlie chat. He locked them in for the night.

Needless to say we are very happy. It was awesome watching the two of them free ranging side by side all day. Roberta, you are my hero. How are those chickie baths coming along??
