I should check out that place! Sounds nice!

Donna, I was going to text you and tell you to go there. You will LOVE the decor. It's just takeout, so you can't really eat there, but it's full of vintage chicken stuff. Even the holder for the pens, etc. is the bottom of a mason jar feeder. There's a big bulletin board papered with vintage magazine ads and articles about raising chickens. I'm going to bring them a couple of my crocheted chicks to add to their collection. Definitely stop in...

While I was in Florida, someone, I apologize for forgetting whom, posted a google map of our locations including the directions to add onto it. I was unable to participate because I was soley using my iPad. Could whoever did it, please repost it so that I can go and check it out??? I tried finding it to no success.

BTW, I checked out Carolyn source for free wood shavings. Steve was very nice and happy to get rid of them. Al and I loaded up 50 bags into the suburban. We put them in a dry place just in case the bags aren't waterproof. I opened one bag to find nice soft shavings. They are hardwoods, maple and oak. I will let you know when I use it and how I feel about it. If this works out, I will have free shavings and only need to do a run every few months. Thanks Carolyn!!

It was great talking to you yesterday!

I don't think we have a map yet, so I thought I would make one for us. If you don't have a google account I can make a marker for you (I will just need your location to do so). I have this set as unlisted, so only people that know of the URL will be able to find it and edit it. Please be sure only to edit your own placemarker. To make one, sign into google, click edit, find your place on the map, select the pin, and place it on the map.

Let me know if the link doesn't work.

There is an overall BYC Map, but the OP made it for texas and there are very few people from the NE on there.

I have a son who is an attorney in Huntingt. His law firm does wills and estates if you need anything or a reccomedation. PM me for info.

I used to be a trust and estates attorney in Melville. Then I decided to follow my heart's desire and teach school. Look how well that turned out.

I'm extremely happy to be a private tutor. But if your son ever needs a legal secretary or clerical help, I'm your girl. Wouldn't want to practice again, but I ran the firm for my sole practitioner boss before becoming his associate, and loved doing that! It would definitely something I'd go back to on a part-time basis.

My girls are very happy outside on this beautiful day!
