Good morning all
Well I had a great weekend.woke up early Sat. And went to King of Prussia in PA for an Artisian and home show for period homes. Of course I'm screaming at the GPS cause it won't take the address. When I get there , the conventioncenter had been taken over by a casino and moved into the basement. I get there an hour early so the slots were calling to me. Signed up for a players club card and they gave me 20 bucks in slot play. I turned that into $400. How cool is that. I never win. I guess it was my other " identity" .
The show was really nice but now I want soapstone counters and sink and a new door.
Instead of driving home I continued on to Adamstown. I haven't been there in years. Still one of the best kept secrets for antiques. The whole town is just dotted with shops. Crashed at the comfort inn for the night and got up super early on Sunday to shop and shop.
Someone told me about an antique show on the way home so the heck with GPS....
Just breezed home with no traffic to speak of..
I really think its my new identity 'cause I never have weekend that go so smoothly.

Did I say I had a large dipped cone from DQ...the best

I've been going there for the early '80s .it is still great. I haven't been to an Extravaganza in years. I've been going to Brimfield MA . After this weekend I'll definitely have to make it there this year.

Hi everyone! We are back from vacation...and I'm pretty exhausted from caring for sick folks. My hubby is already out of town for two weeks work in Minnesota and Lindsey is still sick. Interesting that y'all are talking about PA. My hubby has asked if I would like to get a second home, or a retirement home, somewhere in PA. He is thinking that we might be able to have a small hobby farm. I know nothing about Pennsylvania except for Wilkes Barre and Dingmans Ferry. Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts?

I am posting the above picture of the Arlington Inn in Vermont to tell you all that Bobby and I will be getting married there on April 18. We're going to elope, just the two of us (and maybe Laura and Mike). We're very excited about it, although it feels a little weird that I'm going to be a wife again after 26 years!
