Thank you, Mags! I only took each baby chick out of the incubator to hold tenderly for about 1 second, and they nestled into my hand for the warmth. Perhaps they also felt the flow of Reiki, and my love for them as I met each one "in person." Such tiny eyes looking up at me, each warm little fluffball on baby dino-taloned feet still trembly and unsure. They were so CALM, and snuggled into my hand as I tried to set each back down on their feet in the warm bator on the paper towels for traction. I just wanted to quickly emotionally connect with each, welcome them to the world, and make them each feel loved. They'll stay warm in the bator now until tonight when my fiance comes home and we can briefly snap a few quick photos of the little dears.
