Hi! We are in Central Dutchess county. We raise chickens for eggs and meat. We pasture raised Jumbo cornish cross this year. They were unbelievably tasty!
Have ten turkeys started for thanksgiving , for family and friends.
Additions to our farm are 11 alpacas , 10 guinea fowl, two donkeys, two dogs, and two cats.

I am so jealous of your turkeys

. I want to raise one for thanksgiving myself. I also keep hearing how sweet they are. I think I am buying a second incubator today. I pretty much have settled on the hova bator 1588.

Rosie, I so envy you. I need to go on a camping trip. My friend is at Indian point? This weekend. Told me to come on out. My husband just doesn't do camping any longer .lunch is good. We can even have it at my place. Order pizza or Chinese, sit in the back yard under the trees and watch the chickens. Something new for everyone lol.

Well the little 7 week old roo hasn't attempted to crow again. I shouldn't even say it out loud.
