Looks like a couple of you got to Stormville yesterday. The DW is going in a few minutes with her friend. Hope she brings home some of Gary's Pickles. She's bringing the cart so she's ready for some serious shopping.

We might hit the Garlic Festival in Bethlehem CT later on when she returns. We missed the one in Saugerties this year.

I was supposed to paint the dining room but really don't feel like it today. Too many projects interfering with my fun.

Hey Jeanett, my friend Vera just gave me some hatching eggs that were a few days old. It was either breakfast, or my house.
I promised myself NO MORE til the spring. OOPS. Looks like I had better clean out the basement, since the silkies will be living down there for the winter.

Hi everyone. Wow I hope the weather stays like this for the weekends, getting lots of stuff done.
Still trying to organize the "stuff" DH brought inside for the hurricane. All that crap is still inside. UGH.
I had some kind of zucchini/ squash/ veggie that I'LL NEVER EAT, that someone left on my front porch a few weeks ago.
Split it in half and gave to the chickies. Two yellow paper thin shells left! I'm gonna try to get some more today....
And we had the wormie dance last nite. Boil a pound of spaghetti up, cool off, and throw outside. Too funny!

Hey Roberta I'm In The Same Boat. I Hatched Out 40 Silkie Chicks Sept 12. I Sold 35 Of Them Which I Was Really Lucky In This Late Season. I'm Keeping 5 Until Spring & Sell Then. We Just Came Back From Pa. And Another Hen Went Broody & Was Sitting On 6 Eggs. After 4 Days I Felt Bad To Toss Out & Dont Want To Eat At That Point So I'll Let Her Hatch Them Out. I Think About Silkies In My Sleep. My Husband Had Enough Of Them But I Just Got Him A Traffic Light From Hershey Car Show For His Garage With The Sale Of Just One Young Pullet But I Really Do Have To Get Them Out Of The House.
