YAY Al! A Dr. that gave info over the phone that WORKED? Good to hear that. My DH had a freaky thing going on, we found out he was allergic to sulfa antibiotics. Helps to make a few calls.

Good for you Al! I have a great doctor too. She spends a lot of time with me answering questions, etc. Hang on to that DR! And post updates about how you're feeling. It's good you didn't have to go to the hospital. There's sick people there...

Thanks guys, I am stil having the double vision, although it is slightly better this morning. The headache is still there so I know the infection is too. Going to see the doctor today and get this all straightened out.

The doctor I spoke to was not even my regular doctor. She was a covering physician and was really great. Took plenty of time listening to my symptoms and spared me the ER, and probably CT scans and a long night.

It's cold and windy up here this morning. How is the weather where you are?

Al, it's a good thing you're going to the doctor. Probably need some nuclear antibiotics. Just make sure you're taking plenty of probiotics.

Rainy and cold this morning.

My little recidivist is back in the coop for day 2. But I'm going to work some ninja magic. Ironically, my daughter is the one giving me a hard time about the growing flock. Either Bobby forgot our conversation or he's just given up!!

You gotta put on a haz mat suit. The most important part is getting it OFF without contaminating yourself.
Then throw it out, and do it again. And again.

And again. Actually, I took most of it out years ago and this one plant remained. So I ended up with poison ivy on my arms in exactly the same place this year as back then when I originally removed it. But this time I think I got it all.

Can you believe my career criminal Gladys had to go back to lockdown? She free ranged all day Saturday and was sweet and friendly but at 4pm started eyeing that tree and worked her way over to where she could fly up. I intercepted her and put her in the coop, where she remains. If I didn't have to work until 7pm, I'd take the babies outside and introduce them (through the fence). I want to get that process started because I'm anxious to have the chicks out of the house. They're practically in the bedroom.

This morning the prisoner received frozen corn niblets and a couple of raspberries. She loves that corn!

Was thinking of suspending an ear of corn. Like bobbing for apples...

She didn't go for the broccoli. Liked peas and corn. Are carrots okay (cooked, I mean)? I could get a bag of mixed veggies. Better yet, a frozen block. She could pick all day.

Was going to try a little spaghetti, too. Not too much. Don't want to spoil her girlish figure.

I also thought about putting up a swinging perch in one end of the run.

I broke the news to Bobby that we have to expand the coop again. He pretended to be upset, but I know he loves it. We work side by side. So far no injuries, accidental or otherwise.

So excited about getting a new chicken!!!
