Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

What a day I have had. I woke up this morning to find my last white Victoria Secret (expensive and very comfy) bra laying of the floor chewed in half by my Bichon puppy Charlie. I was so mad! I swooped down to pick it up while screaming at my puppy ( this is like the 5th one he chewed up) and BAM!! My back goes out. My husband came over after work (I've been staying at my parents, long story) he has a back thing, had surgery a few years ago, but he's mostly good now he jogs 5 miles a day and stuff now, anyways he gives me some of his back pain medicine. OMG! I'm now laying flat out on the sofa singing strange Xmas songs and dreaming of fluffy chicks.

Nothing says Christmas like a drug-induced caroling session.

I just got home from being out literally all day doing Christmas errands. Not so much shopping. Returning a couple of things and buying stuff for the family get together on the 26th. I stopped home to drop the dog from the groomer's and picked Bobby up to escort me on the latest round of stuff. Big mistake. I have a list of ways to reduce stress while Christmas shopping. Here it is, with the year's addition:

1. Never shop without a list.
2. Park in the first spot you see.
3. Leave your coat in the car.
4. Don't bring a man. (Sorry, guys)

I guess I should also add this year to bring your reading glasses. Was a time I could see price tags without them. Now it gets very expensive to leave the glasses home!

No egg from Gladys today. She was off her schedule yesterday - didn't lay until after 1 pm. Today, nothing. Oh well. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

To all, a Happy Chanukah, and a very Merry Christmas!

Looking forward to 2012. Let's hope it is a great one for all of us, and our chickens.

My DH made it quite clear early on in our marriage. We were shopping in Macy's.
He went into womens lingerie, grabbed the biggest bra he could find, and walked around wearing it on his head like a hat!
If that doesn't work for you guys, I don't know what will.

Thanks to all, and whatever holiday you celebrate, I hope it is great!
