Keep us posted!

Ok it's 6am. The chicks room is clean. The air purifier is running. The brooder is set up and is a comfy 92 degrees. The waterer is full of spring water and the feeder is full of chick starter.
Just in case they come today even tho it's prolly gonna be tomorrow.

AHhhhh. I can't sleep. Been up all night lol.

Oh no I'm having trouble adding a photo from my phone :(
Will go hunt down my camera. I must be able to post pictures!

I always let them know ahead of time. That way they are prepared for the little peepers.
It is a secret lately for PO phone numbers.
But I have the fax #, I usually just tell them how many boxes, from where, and give them my cell, which is right on my nightstand.
That way they call as soon as the noisey box gets there, and I rush over in my jammies to pick them up.

I have gotten to be welcome at the back door (where customers aren't allowed) as long as I bring eggs every time I am there!

Ahh. The expectant mommy! I didn't warn my PO. I tracked the package through the hatchery website. It left the postal sorting facility at 9:44 and at 10:01 I got a call from my PO that the box was there. When I picked them up, there were two boxes - someone else had ordered chicks also, The PO manager laughed and told me they get chicks through there all the time.

Sounds like you are more than ready.

I've been looking at the hatchery websites and I won't be able to get my next chicks til May.

Looks like chickensforbackyards.com has the chicks I want available in April. Who's in for some chicks? I've got 5 in the cart right now - 2 for me and 3 for friends. I'll put the order together and we can arrange drop off. Anyone???
