I wouldn't be using the cedar chips in there, it has an aromatic oil that is an irritant to the chickens respiratory systems.
Looks good! It must be hysterical watching them go in and out, does the ramp jiggle when they are on it?

Are your paint beginning of jan. hatch? Mine had about 4 spots each but they are coming out even more now. They carry the gene so even though they dont breed true you should still get some paint. I've sold birds that I was sorry about also. I cant stand it. Thats why now I take my time thinking about it before I sell certain birds. Abi & I are hopefully going to sussux show. I am a little worried about my breathing but cant stand hearing about all the shows that I am missing. I am looking for good black but I have a while for the paint to mature. I have two black hens breeder quality one from Hattrick other from A happy chick. I am looking for that eye candy black and will sell my black once I find her. I just bought a white hen from George M. so I'm broke for a while

I am using cedar chips untill my next TSC run xD lol i have a hay underlayer though.... no it does not JIGGLE lol thanks to those supports... i put a video of them coming down it if you want to watch....

Jeanett, Sussex is outdoors-ish, it is in the fairgrounds, and the birds are in barns, so you shouldn't have trouble breathing. But I don't know your situation.
At NEPC, we were choking on wood chip dust for weeks afterwards, but Sussex is more outdoors.

So I can go out to get some fresh air if it gets bad, that's good. I dont have any major health issues just bad allergies & my throat closes up. I'm laughing as I type this "No major health issues, my throat just closes up" It could be worse! I just have to watch myself & take meds. Double up if going to be near animals. I have the sussux page saved but didnt get a chance to look it up yet
