Southern NY, Dutchess county and below

Hmmm, Bobby does nice work.

Rich, It could be something stuck, or the beginnings of a cold. Keep an eye on them.
The VetRX is a good preventative, if you can get them to behave when you are rubbing it all over their faces.
Usually it goes away, as long as they are healthy, which you don't have to worry about.
And remember, allergy season is just starting.
My daffodils are starting to pop. Along with my ears, and nose, and face. UGH.

Wow, I went to Mohegan yesterday, and there are 27 posts when I get back on.
Of course this new system doesn't tell me....
NO, lost money, thanks for asking.
Roberta, all of a sudden I haven't gotten a post notification in a couple of days. Usually they come in out of order and hours late. This new system has issues with notification delivery. Yeah, a lotta posts yesterday. Shame to take such a ride and have to come back lighter in the pocket.

Donna, only 24 days til our new babies hatch and I get my first BO.

I have decided to be a grownup and not spend over $200 to hatch a Lavender Orpington. Not now, anyway. I got as far as the day of the end of the auction, and even ordered the incubator. Then I decided I was being stupidly obsessive and canceled everything. I have chicks coming in 25 days (but who's counting?) and am in the process of designing/building a coop from scratch. AND I'm probably getting laid off in June. What was I thinking???

I'm going to make a really nice brooding box for the babies' arrival. Hopefully, the new coop will be finished by the time they're ready to go outside. I can put a separate pen in for them until the big girls accept them.

The first wall of the coop is framed. Note the proximity to my neighbor in the back. Fortunately this guy has loud parties and a fire pit on his raised wooden deck. So we're guessing he won't be saying anything...

And Bobby doesn't want to do this for profit? I think you could have a heck of a business with his skills. Build 'em on site for the customer. That way no shortage of space issues at your place.

Nice start to the coop ! Hey you can always make your neighbor deviled eggs for his parties, that'll keep him quiet. So I should have Vet Rx in my chicken first aid kit? So far I have blue Kote. I think I'm gonna get a pack of electrolytes and maybe some kind of antibiotic. What do you guys keep On hand for emergencies? Knowing me the first time my chicken sneezes I will freak out, cover it in blue Kote, rub vet RX all over it's nose shoot it up with antibiotics, worm it. And kill it from too much Stuff UGH

I just bid on 6 cream legbar eggs.

I don't even have an incubator.

It's al DO IT, DO IT's fault
Oh that was me.

These BYC forums are bad for me.

So anyone want rare roosters and maybe a hen lol
