Hi all, I've been busy trying to get some sort of website up for myself. Trying to get more business! This is just the meat of it so far, it will be well designed when it's final. But here is some work you've probably never seen before from me.

I will check out your link about the battery hens, poor gals.

I am going out (again) to refresh food, clean large marge's butt and soak (can you believe?) betty's foot in some epsom salts. She has a chronic bumble on her foot that won't go away. i showed it Lorie who you all met at the nj poultry show and she doesn't think it's something to worry about but it won't go away.

I did a whole coop cleanout today myself. My secret weapon? A cheapo bbq grill brush I got at HD. It has a metal scraper on one end - perfect for scraping poop off roosting bars, etc. And the wire brush gets all the little stuff left over. Swept out everything and started all over again. Fresh food, water and treats.

Last week I met a woman who runs a farm market - she's bringing me a box of leftover lettuces for the girls.

Gonna wear my latest Donna tshirt to school tomorrow. Sending shirts to my brother and his wife, too. Bobby looks great in his Rockin' Rooster Radio shirt in dark grey.

It's a chicken world!

Beautiful day for being outside - huh? Even though I spent a better part of mine inside.

Did I tell everyone how happy I am with the automatic coop door opener and closer? I've been staying in bed until 7:00 am. Call me crazy! Also loving my treadle feeder.
