What's the weather like by you? I think I have to go out and trick them into going in to the run early or I'll be getting soaked in a little bit. Batten down the hatches every one....

Yes, we are REALLY windy and humid here all day......the perfect storm is coming, I can smell it and my dog has been frantic for an hour or 2 now following me everywhere.

Oh yeah-the wind is incredible. My little dog had to be taken out on a leash (that never really happens for just a pee, but she wouldn't go out!) The big dog is just barking at stuff hitting the house.
There's tornado warnings for the city, but out here just really nasty gusts.

My husband and I split a half a cow with a friend when we were up in Ithaca. We would do the same with pigs and lamb.my friend always took care of it I just paid for my half. It is definitely worth.

According to weather underground there is a tornado watch for Long Island til 11 pm .

My young girls are not falling for any tricks and refuse to go in. When they wake up in Connecticut tomorrow they will wish they went in.

Those youngsters are tough though-now mine all file in together when the sun dips below the trees. thank GOD-I have no fences, so chasing chickens through my neighbors yards isn't what I need. (Neighborly relations tend to suffer when chicken poop is involved)

I'm going to have him ask the guy he spoke to about where he went...these little cretins I gave birth to are eating machines!!!

I am also considering the "cow" thing.
But have to buy a chest freezer. You can't just throw it in the regular fridge freezer, the defrost cycle is what ruins everything.

We got clobbered for a few hours. It filled a bucket of water to about 6 inches... wow. I was teaching class online at the time and lost my internet connection twice.

Look at it this way. If the beef thing doesn't work out, the freezer will make a great place to hide the body.

You guys seriously crack me up. I was laughing about the chickens in the car wash idea and John wanted to know what was so funny. All I could say was, "Chicken Humor."

I get to see my neurologist tomorrow for my annual check-up on the holes in my head. Let's hope there aren't any new ones, I seem to be a bit light in the brain pan department as it is.
