OK, so tomorrow I'll take pics of my 2 beautiful little white silkies. They are 3 months and a week old now and simply precious.
I adore them and they just make me smile every day when I visit them for a lift in my spirits. They are actually what keeps me sane here right now. I really hold no joy for the upcomiong holidays at all and just want "normal" back.

They are perhaps the nicest silkies I have ever had. I really cannot sex them at all yet. I am hoping against hope I have 2 girls but suspect I have a pair.Just a guess at this point.

I'd " ninja " a roo out back for as long as I could now it's winter and everyone is shut down.....and see what develops. They came from some pretty stock so who knows eh?

Ok, so I don't eat them. Really, I don't, never did. I do understand that many people are freaking out because they think they may never get another one. Of course, the prospect of not being able to get something kind of makes a person want to run out and get some... in the mean time, for those of you who are now just in the worst way for a creme filled sponge cake delight...

I can't even imagine putting one in my mouth, and now they're selling them on ebay for 100 dollars a box! Ew.

I'm considering a ride out to Tanger Outlets to the Guess store. I neeeeed a new bag to make me feel pretty. (No, really-I'm serious-I'm a terrible bag junkie) and maybe a new pair of shoes...BOOTS! That's it!! I'm getting a pair of boots!! and a BAG!!

I feel better already.

Morning All, I think I'm going to head out to the West Hampton farmers market this morning. With Richard not home I can get up and do these things.maybe I'll zip over to riverhead agway. Just need to get out of this house.
What special things do you make for Thanksgiving. My husband gets crazy, I just approach it as another meal. I always make cranberry sauce , and praline sweet potatoes with pecans,pumpkin pie and of course stuffing(my son lives for it.)
How does everyone prepare their turkey? I baste mine with a port wine butter sauce.
I'm hungry already... Enjoy the day
