Conrgratulations on your move! A few years back we moved our 8x16 storage shed which is now the chicken coop. Whew! What a huge project!

Thanks! That must have been a huge project! I wish ours was 8x16.. the town won't allow it without a permit. At least we're legal with the set back now. No worries on the town chicken police coming to get us!! Or the neighbors being able to complain. It is really annoying that the whole process took so long though since I had to place some chickens a while back in a hurry because of it. Had to be done, I know, but it wasn't fun at the time.

It was funny putting the chooks away last night. My cochins and buttercup had the hardest time with it.. they were walking around crying, in the coops previous location like, "I know it was here somewhere..." and the partridge finally went in and then another girl came out to get the last cochin, who was being the most stubborn. Poor thing!

The hamburger incident happened twenty years ago. I can't believe I can actually say that! Anyway, I despise fast food. Wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole these days. That burger in the purse cured me. I'd rather take the time to make homemade French Onion soup any day. Maybe I'll make some today. That sounds really good. It's chilly here this morning.

I know this thread moves so fast sometimes, Dahlisgrams is my friend Terra that I have spoken about.
Now that all this disease crap is out in the open, she is the one I have been getting supplies for to vaccinate her flock.
Kinda sucks, we met at Agway, and were afraid to give each other a hug for fear of contaminating each other.
In the front, Al has put the user name vs. real names. I think it's time for an update on that.
I can't even remember my own names sometimes. uGH.

I put Stoopid's last two lines in boldface because I can SO relate to that. Help, help the sky is falling is my reflex reaction to reading the user names on each post. I've got a small list of about six user names/real names taped up on the bottom edge of my computer monitor and my eye flies there with each post I read here.

I second the motion for an update to the list.

I especially appreciate your sentiments, Roberta. If all you young'ns are having the same blank stare when confronting user names, I don't feel so weird.

I say "young'ns" because while you're all sending Roberta wishes for Happy Birthday (and let me add mine too: Happy, Happy Birthday Roberta), you've made it clear that I'm way more than 20 years older than you all. Talk about older than dirt!!!! I'll be 73 in May. Maybe I should change my avitar logo to say Grandmother of Chickens instead of Mother of Chickens. LOL Blank stares at this age are par for the course. (Dammit!!! SO annoying!!!)

Very confusing. First there's a user name, and then the real name, and then the e-mail address is another spot in my brain that there really is't much room for extra stuff.

Yep, that's me! We were pretty funny that day, clogging up the Agway parking lot yapping while DH waited in the car. He didn't mind though, he was listening to FAN.

Next time I'm bringing Oxine and we can hug each other and then disinfect after. We've both had such nasties floating around.. ugh. I hate feeling dirty even after a shower!

This thread does move fast, and I am bad with names to begin with so forgive me if I have trouble keeping everyone straight. I'll figure it out though.. LOL
