My family and I just got 5 chicks this past weekend. Last week when I was building our coop I got sunburned in the 50+ degree heat; it felt great! Just yesterday, there was a winter storm with high winds that moved through and produced a major ground blizzard. Needless to say, we have a makeshift chick nursery in our family room next to the wood stove. I think our chicks like being inside. I know my 6 year old son loves it! Due to our unpredictable springtime-in-Montana weather, these chicks may be spending a lot of time inside!
