I have been thinking about this exact same thing....Mine had a different take...not so much evangelism as ministering to people who have no money at our church...I have always tithed the top ten percent of my eggs to my neighbor who has a gillion foster kids, but have decided I might be better off to go with people who really have nothing...I know a few that are one step away from being on the street.....This really confirms my idea.....thanks!!

Good for you!!! I can easily see this as a ministry. One of my neighbors takes his extras to a nearby childrens' home. They are delighted to recieve them.

cool thing happened today. I was at the doctors office for a check up and while I was waiting I picked up the Bible to read. I just opened it to a random page.... guess which verse I opened to

Matthew-Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

The whole idea behind Sparrow Ministries is that God cares even for the Sparrows that are here today and gone tomorrow... How much more does He care for us, His children that were created in His likeness? All I can say is WOW! God is obviously leading you in this direction or you wouldn't have had it laid on your heart! It has also lead me and I see many others to think of ways to help others and to spread the good news! Thank you, what an uplifting post!
