I have to say I am very thankful that there has been enough kindness in these posts that no one has become unreasonably angry. It is not likely that we could have a thread hang around this long without having some disagreement with so many different opinions. This thread has become somewhat of a blog for me and Id hate to see it disappear so please continue to be kind. Everyone will always have different views and that is fine. We all need to accept that people think differently and their comments will reflect that. Responding with anger will defiantly NOT help our purpose. I will tell you that some of the negative comments have been helpful to me in that they have made me watch closely that I dont become prideful as if I deserve any kind of credit(God is the giver and we are the servants that distribute with joy).
Rather the hearts of man are hardened or softened is a gift from God. Since this is a gift he is of course free to give that gift to whom ever he pleases. A hardened heart needs mercy from our living God but that mercy should start with us Christians.
