Speckled Sussex Chicks!

Hi, guys! I don't have any chickens yet, but I'm going to get Speckled Sussex chicks, and I want a little sneak peak at these little cuties as chicks! Please post pics of your SS chicks!

Have you done a thread search for SS chicks? That would be the easiest and quickest way to get pics of them. Also, Murray McMurray shows photos of all the breeds of chicks that they sell.

Go to the American Sussex association website .they have pictures of all the different birds there
Speckled Sussex chicks come in two colors . one is yellow and one is Chipmunk striped.
the yellow birds are based on the Wheaten allele.
the Chipmunk striped are based on the wildtype allele. Both of them will feather out into proper Dpeckled Sussex.
