Speckled Sussex lost his tail

Hi. Will a speckled Sussex who suffered a loss of tail feathers by an aggressive roo grow them back when he molts?

Hello Redsoxs and Drumstick Diva. I'm thinking of adopting the SS from my niece to save the rest of his feathers, but also worry about introducing disease into my hen house. Any advice on how cot avoid this? They are only 3 months old so not egg-laying yet.
