This is chippy. I was told shes a pullet. She is roughly 24 weeks. Shes not laying as of yet. She bonded with my son and I as you can see. She always bonded with our ducks. Is she a late bloomer? Or should I be eggcited soon? I mean I know shes an odd ball. But is she a she? And will she be laying soon?

I'd say pullet, she'll get more white as she gets older, as do all SS chooks!
She's a cutie!

I have three SS hatched 4/15/20. They didn't start laying until 26-30 weeks. Their combs still aren't much bigger or redder than yours, but there is a noticeable difference.

They lay the cutest little cream colored eggs. They are about half the size of my other layers' eggs, but the yolks are huge compared to the size of the egg. I eat their's since they look so silly in a carton compared to L or XL eggs and sell the others.
