Anyone have plans for New year's Eve?

We are going to my parents to have Chinese...

Here is my magnificent boy this morning. He's becoming quite the love of my life. He has been taking such good care of the chicks. I'm really happy I kept Squatch, he's such an amazing cockerel.

Are you setting up a budget for the whole year and how do you do it?

We are in the process of saving for land so any help I can get would be great :lau I am awful at saving
I am using Quicken, but have also done this with a spreadsheet using Excel. But, really you can do it with pencil and columnar paper. I start with the fixed income and expenses, such as salary, house payment, car payment, utilities, etc. Then I estimate living expenses, and I base this on what's left after the fixed expenses. A budget means you can't just buy whatever you want all the time. You choose to spend X dollars on food and sundries and stick to it. Don't forget things like gas and auto maintenance. Make sure there is budget for gifts, clothes, shoes, and any other thing you know you will need to buy throughout the year. Some of those things I might only spend seasonally, but I will spread it out over the year evenly, and then leave those amounts in savings until needed. Always budget your savings goal. If you get Quicken, it will help you through a lot of this work. Well, that's a sketchy idea of how to do it. Feel free to ask specific questions.

Hi Kris!

Yesterday I got 2 Siamese algea eaters at PetSmart (I really hate that place, but I wanted algea eaters... soo...)

This morning, I was cleaning the tank, and I used the net to put all my fish into a container while I do that. One of those algea eaters grabbed onto the net and would NOT let go. 2 hours passed by and he was still breathing but latched on. So, I did something I may regret later & pulled him off myself (gently of course). :barnie
Hello, I was never successful with those guys, they always died on me :( and plecos get too big and ugly for me. I have my guppies and Cory catfish and a few assassin snails and a few surviving pond snails. I’m looking to start a shrimp tank.
