It is very kind of you to say. Thank you!!

Marty, hope the worst is behind you. It's rotten to start off a new wonderful year feeling under the weather.

Hi Lydia, my dear friend. All caught up yet?

Iain, I figure its all downhill from here. At least, that's a positive way to think about it.

You know, all this ice and snow stuff has me thinking about the quote in a Laura Ingalls Wilder Book, how "everything evans out in the end. The rich man gets his ice in summer, and the poor man gets his ice in the winter." Of course, I don't know that it actually means anything, but with my extra hang out and do nothing but rest time it kept going through my head. (or when I trudge out through the stuff to milk and do chores)

Sorry... not sure I understand that quote... but glad to see you are on the mend!! Stay warm in the bitter weather when doing chores!

Hope your feeling alot better today Marty, a good shot of whiskey with honey and lemon warmed will do ya a world of good. or white lightening what ever you can find. I've never ttried it but the O timers around here swear by it. It was 37 this morning when i got up, now it's going down hill. They said it was going below freezing so I drug the 150' of hose down the drive way so it would drain and not freeze, just to have to go out this morning and drag it back up so the geese and ducks could have so swim time, boy that thing is a hoss.
