Spirit - the amazing grey dewlap toulouse gander!

I am thinking about getting those new shrink up hoses so when done watering they shrink up are very light and you can carry them inside with you. They have 3 different lengths. I do belive this would make watering a whole heck of a lot easier!
 
Misery loves company..... you guys are making me feel a teensy bit better. We haul out 15 gallons to the dewlaps, another fresh gallon into coop for ducks, and then 15 gallons for the africans/ducks in their feeding/shelter area (which fortunately is only a few feet away from spigot). It is quite the workout, especially if you also factor in hauling 100lbs hay daily from barn to horses' feeding area. No need for a new years resolution to diet or exercise here.

I bet not you have to eat just to keep up your strength.
 
Thought I'd share a new pic of Spirit. He feels like he has gained a half-pound in the past week and it looks like he is starting to fill out again, too.
