Spirit - the amazing grey dewlap toulouse gander!

I am truely eggsited:weee I have moved the tro to a different pen that is much bigger and I moved the dog house that has all the eggs in it. It didn't take long for one of the geese to go inside and sit.

Marty, how is baby doing? Also, I noticed your post about Julia wanting a swan. Swans are super tough to take care of. I have a friend around the corner who has had her white swan for 6 years, and it is a major pain to care properly for him. And he gets very dangerous during breeding season, protecting his Canadian goose "mate". An chance you can steer her towards peacocks instead?

Peacocks? Not in a million! LOL I don't really see her getting swans either. I think maybe a nice duck.....

LOL! I noticed there are jumbo white Peking hatching eggs on eBay right now. ;)

Lydia, you know you are going to get the hatching fever if you keep hanging out with us. Keep working on hubby...he will eventually give in and build you more pens.

Do you have a good market in your area? Pick some things that will sell well to 4H kids in a month or two, and get started! LOL Don't worry Miss Lydia, we'll help you..... (but your on your own with your DH)

Thanks!! On a funny side note, I heard banging and spirit making a racket, which is unusual for him, so I raced to his room to check. He and ember were dunking their heads into water bucket then zooming around room, running into each other and bouncing off walls. It has been months since I have seen spirit zoom. It was just the lighthearted silliness that I needed to see after these last few days watching over Bonnie.

Thanks, sue! It has been great therapy these days to hang out in spirit's room and feed off his strength and positive energy. I can't wait to see hownhe will do once the last of the hardware is removed tomorrow. These last 5 days have been a nightmare that I keep praying we will wake up from. The side effects of the phenobarbital are severe and bonnie had another grand mal seizure this morning after going all weekend without one. She is also having minor seizures and otherwise having a very hard time. I have another call out to my vet, but I'm afraid that she will tell me to just wait it out as it takes a while for dogs to adjust to pheno. :(

Hey Kim! :D Good to see you here. Ready for breeding season and doing a hatch along? Do you have anything cooking in your bator now?
