Spirit - the amazing grey dewlap toulouse gander!

Me too, Paulla. :(

FYI, I moved spirit's appointment to this afternoon, to give hubby some much needed rest (he was up most of the night with Bonnie) and to make sure we are home to give Bonnie her meds at 11am. I hope to have good news about Spirit later today and pics of his leg with no hardware sticking through it.

Looking forward to the update Iain.

Baby the goose is still doing about the same. She can't quite walk, but is a little better at getting around without using her wings so much.

The preliminary court date (where folks are charged officially or something) for the 2 dog attack and murder of many of my flock was supposed to be last week on the 10th. It was moved becasue he had a lawyer allready (he's allready in trouble with the city) who wanted all the cases togather. So, things are proceeding, but still no word.

I know you'll be relieved to get it started. and glad to hear Baby is still trying. she hasn't given up thats great.

I'm a little extra tense today. On one hand, they city had helped me. On the other, I'm using a lawyer now becasue 18 monthes ago they accidentally extended the road onto my property. They have no easements or rights to it (it's been there longer than its been in the city) but when the accidentally paved it 18 monthes ago, and I immediatly went to them and told them of their mistake, they won't fix it. They won't remove it. I can't even put up a fence there. Grrr.... They mess up and I've got to pay to make them fix it. Hardly seems fair.

That sucks! A lot of money in attorney's fee would be saved if people/businesses/the government would just do the right thing when they screw up.

x 2.5. In some other countries, when you sue somebody, the loser pays all the legal fees for both parties. My lawyer told me about that today, and how if the US was the same, fewer people would waste needless monthes and years in litigation. Folks would think about it first. The city is blowing me off becasue they can. I have no recourse to get the money back it costs to take them to court.
