Ok, so everyone´s giving congrats, which makes me feel mean because I haven´t, but I already KNEW he was going to be fine, and said so.....

I appreciate the congratulations, but Mr. Spirit must have overdone it two days ago because yesterday was a tough one for him. I hope today is better.

Serv, it looks like we are slowly climbing out the deep freeze. Our lows are still -5F to -10F, but our high temps are getting into the 20s. The forecasters are promising better weather by the weekend.

Well.... good ole Spirit never gives up. When I checked on him just now, I found him in a standing position.

How´s he doing with his warm swimming sessions? They must help him a lot. How do you think he over-did it? Was he using his foot a lot that day? Maybe the better weather will help him, too. Is it likely to get cold again afterwards, though? Does it stay on-and-off cold until March? He needs a heated outdoor swimming pool!!
