I've never heard of that color before. I gotta find some eggs i can get XD

What other colors are there? I've only heard of the regular black and white and a seller claimed to have black laced golds

I believe the three recognized colors are silver spangled, gold spangled and chamois.

Never heard of laced, sounds like a cross to polish to me (since polish come in laced)

I have heard of Silver Spangled, Gold Spangled, Black, Blue, and Chamois

I used to have all except blue.

Oh, okay. They might have had golds then, not the laced ones. I'd never even heard of Spitzhaubens until this April. They looked like regular spitz but gold instead of silvery white

Now that my 9 youngsters are 8 and 9 weeks old, I removed Mama Moonshine from her group. She was attacking her own son, and if I opened the door between both groups, she tried to kill the other cockerel. The best solution was to remove her. She didn't even look back when I put her w the adults. She squatted for the rooster, skirmished w the hens to reestablish herself in the pecking other, and checked out the nest boxes. It was time. The youngsters were then free to intermingle and they get along fine. There are 2 Spitzhauben pullets, 5 Spright (mixed) pullets, and the 2 Spright boys. One cockerel was raised by the hen, the other by me. I plan to keep only one, so they both are being carefully monitored.

How many of everyone's Spitz girls, have spurs?

Mine might have nubs, but nothing noticable. They're also April babies though so still growing

Mine 3-4 yr old hen has pretty large spurs. Not like a rooster's, but very noticeable.
