Splash/ Blue Silkie Thread

Pics
Can anyone tell me if this is considered a splash silkie? It's mostly white with a little bit of black on it.
I don't think anyone else has answered. I am not too experienced at this - but it almost looks paint to me. White bird with some black feathers - holes in the white pigment.

My friend just hatched this silkie out last night. The egg came from our farm though and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what color variation this little girl could be? ( upper left) Dad is blue and mom is white. Thank you!

It looks partridge to me, but its hard to tell since its still kind of wet. Super cute!

Less than a month ago I got my first pair of silkies. A blue hen and a splash roo. They are so adorable. Immediately I started looking in Michigan for another BBS hen to complete a trio. I found this to be a pretty hard task since you can't sex them for many months and I was only finding chicks. The reason I even got the silkies was because I knew they were so broody. Well, the little hen laid eggs like crazy and once I confirmed fertility I started saving them for when she went broody. I have other hens and NO broody. I was getting obsessed, so I read an ad on Craig's List about a guy who would incubate my eggs for 50 cents ea!!! So I took in 9 eggs yesterday and have started the long wait for my little chicks. Out of nine, I should get a hen....now that's "chicken math!"

I have a splash rooster if interested. He is sweet. From a splash and splash pairing so a bit light. Bearded and vaulted. Free. In coos county

The bottom photo definitely has more of a blue tone to the colour; in the first photo you posted, as well as the one at the top here, he has more of a yellowish-brown colouring. It could be either the lighting or camera settings, or even computer settings. It can be difficult to get colours to show up correctly--the bane of my picture-taking!

This is splash (the first two photos were George Mihalik's birds, the 3rd is mine):

This is champagne paint (my bird, bred by Deb Steinberg):

See how very different the colouring is?

OOOOOOO MMMMMMMMM GGGGGGGGGGG! <3

For reference here is Grayson as a new chick and now. He had lighter feet and beak like a white, not dark like the blues.

I love him!

Out of the nine eggs I mentioned above, three hatched. So I paid the guy $1.50 for these little gems! Are they not adorable? Would you say they will be blue or splash?? Love them!! :love

They are SUPER adorable :love

They look blue to me, but one of my hens started out very dark like your cutie in the front and turned into a very nicely marked splash (in my opinion, anyway). I'll post some pics of her when my hubby gets of the computer, whenever that may be. Its a pain to post them from my phone, which is what I'm using now :barnie
