Just took some today! And ugh... my poor little Birdie. Red face and her green feet turning more yellow on the tops. I think she needs more sun. She’s been so confused spending most of her time upstairs in the coop instead of the run . But she’s so friendly and sweet. But seeing her makes me a little sad. She looks a little he to me. But it’s hard to tell. Also all her beautiful tail feathers were all over the run...maybe her and Fifi are fighting? She only has a few tail feathers left and I’m a little worried. Her coop doesn’t have any pests or anything. I doubt she has a disease unless it’s a genetic condition? Or just fighting with Fifi like I said?!

Hopefully I got some useful ones. She’s a busy bird! She hasn’t been out of her coop/run for weeks since she loves to fly and I don’t trust her free roaming with all the hawks we have.

More pics... and if anyone has any ideas on what might be the issue for her tail I’d appreciate it. I’m pretty concerned the more I look at the pictures

What are you feeding? Are the tail feather falling out? Being pulled out? Just not grown in yet?
I am still feeding chick starter feeder. I was told to keep them on this until 4+ months. She/he had a lot of tail feathers before. It seems like one they moved outside to their coop that the tail feathers slowly started to be missing and scattered all over their run. I think the silkie may be pulling them out as the silkie is the dominant one now and has no tail feathers missing.

Must be feather pulling then. Yes, keep her on chick feed until she starts laying. They need the higher protein.

So looks like a she to you? I know last time you thought she might be a he...really hoping for a she (aren’t we all lol)

Also... when do they start normally laying if they’re pullers. I know she’s a hatchery chick so that might change things. And should I separate her from the silkie. The problem is I have only 1 coop but I don’t want her getting her tail feathers pulled constantly
