Hello everyone! Someone “threw in an extra chick for free” this chick has a “bum leg” I wanted to know if it’s fixable or not....is it splayed leg or a deformity? Apparently it was am assisted hatch but I am not sure if I believe that...anyways, I will post pics below...advice is appreciated! It is a sizzle!

In my opinion, that was a rude thing for them to do. You should never 'pawn off' an injured/disabled type animal to someone without them explicitly agreeing to it beforehand :/

They seem to be a few days old, and by the photos probably not walking around super well? Have you tried taping the toes at all?

To be honest, it is probably better off with me anyways and I wouldn’t have the heart to say no to a poor chick in need especially when someone treats it in such a disposable matter! She was like “oh I even gave you a free chick” lol. Wow. No! I don’t have experience with this! Any pictures and help would be appreciated! How do I tape the toes and doesn’t the leg look messed up as well?
