Splinting issues with duckling?

3 week old duckling suspected splayed leg. Hobbles but will still put weight on the leg, when sat down leg is pushed behind the body and never under the body. Initially suspected a niacin deficiency but 2 weeks on supplements and no real improvement, finally attempted to splint the leg however she now can’t seem to walk at all? She’s pushing both her legs behind her and can’t get back up from there. Don’t want her to injur herself any more and the banding isnt covering her knees. Is this a normal reaction to banding? Has only been on for a couple of hours but she wont move.

Thank you! I have attached 3 images of her with the banding on her legs, this is how she insists on sitting and will even attempt to walk like this refusing to pick herself up. Other two pictures are how the leg sits naturally when she is sat on it and being held up. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Make sure you have vitamin powder (or brewers yeast) in the water Incase of vitamin deficiency

@WannaBeHillBilly has done a hobble. I haven't, but from that one picture it looks to me like there is way too much space between the legs on it.

Also get some B-complex and nutritional yeast powder and put it on his food

We’ve been mixing a niacin powder as well as a poultry spice with all food for the past 2 weeks so hopefully that can add to it

I don’t believe so, i live in the north east of the UK so my suppliers are pretty limited. I’m relying on pets at home supplies and local wholesalers
