Okay I have a buff that is just starting to lay eggs. All of her eggs have a brown spec in the whites. I have read and looked at the pictures regarding meat spots and this doesn't seem to be a meat spot. It is very tiny, not much bigger than a pin prick and is hard. Almost like a flake of something. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

I'll try and post picture tomorrow, I've done through out her egg today. It maybe meat but nothing like any of the pics I've seen. It more like a tiny spec of a dried scab.

Took me a couple of days but I finally cracked an egg. All of this girls eggs have this spot. And she is the roosters favorite girl, she's the only one who has had fertilized eggs too (thus far anyway)

Blood spots and meat spots are very common in new layers. I get them fairly often as well. I just pick them out, grosses me out!Sometimes they are larger but usually mine are super tiny like your picture
