I think I threw my shoulder out today ironing all my fabrics today. 24 fat quarters, 2- 1 yard pieces, 4-1/2 yard pieces.


I've not even started ironing the fabrics for the spring and patriotic strip swaps. Those are still hanging on the line or in the washer.

My strips for 2 swaps went out today. I am in no rush, so you can send the strips from both swaps back at the same time.

I love ironing my fabric, but not after I washed and tumble dried them and then hubby, to "help" tosses them in the laundry basket and piles more clean clothes on top.

yea! the longer they sit, the worse the wrinkles and they don't want to iron out then. been there done that

I use a spray bottle, dampen them and toss them back in the dryer on "wrinkle ban" and let them refluff out, then it's a fast swipe of the iron.

I want to get a quilt put together with these strips

I have so many quilts going right now.

one for hubby and I for our anniversary (waiting on brown fabric to finish up)
need to start one for my oldest daughter who is getting married
one for my middle daughter (starting to quilt it by hand today)
one for s-daughter (its a rag quilt, all I have to do now is clip it)
one for the neighbors pregnant daughter
one for the hospital ( still praying someone will quilt it for me with a machine)
the chicken quilt throw for me
the prayer quilt for our Preacher

I probably have another UFO hiding somewhere that I haven't found yet

I sent out my strips yesterday! Wow, I'm running almost 26 days before the deadline! I think that's a new record for me!!

CM, you better think of another color scheme for strips, that way I can combine two different sets in one shipping.
