My prediction was correct, lol.

Yesterday I came home with 9 new babies: 4 EE's and 5 OEGBs.

I JUST put my eggs in the 'bator, and they're due April 9th!!! xD Sorry, I'm just SO excited to be raising chicks this spring! We're building a new coop, and planting a chicken garden... May 6th will be our hatch date last year, and our "chicken anniversary", so we've found out a LOT.

Hey guys!! I just had my first hatch of mutts! They started hatching on the 17th and the last hatched today. I have 25 little peeps in my bathroom in the brooder

Well i guess i have to join in here is some pics they where inside now there outside with a heat light

there a little more grown up they have feathers and you can barely catch them they love to fly i have black jersey giants,polish,brown leghorn,white leghorn,buff orpinton and barred rocks. Not one death since i got them no deaths period.They are 2 weeks old.All of them are like the top photo all my photos and the top photo is the most recent!

oh they are too cute. Mine have just started hatching.
Rooster Brandon I am also going to use a rabbit cage as my brooder. I used it for my first hatch last year and it worked out great. Now where to put it LOL
have a cage in the kitchen now, bator in the office, might have to move the furniture around to get the rabbit cage in here.

I have 11 Growing chicks. 4 are Seramas, they're around a month old. Then Mrs. Fluffy Puffy is raising the other 7 chicks for me. She has: 1 Blue Andalusian Mutt hen ( from my flock ), 1 BCM Roo, 1 Silver Laced mutt roo, a Black Cochin X Silkie Roo, and then 2 OE X Silkie X EE 'gals and last, but not least a white rock mutt hen.

I have 56 eggs in my incubators due 46 and 4/7 and more eggs coming this week.

you are going to be busy come hatch day. Mine are hatching now started out with 36 for of those were no good. They started hatching yesterday while i was out of the house. My dd called me to tell me. So far I think I have a total of 8 that have hatched all together. Setting up the brooder now. When do i give them to grow gel- wait till they are all out or start giving it to those that are ready to come out of the bator

I got these Bantams today from TSC. I was surprised by husband let me and it was actually his idea! I am pretty sure one is a Silkie and and Old English Game, but not sure of the others. Any ideas? And I have my fingers crossed that I have no roosters!
