Spring Fox Trouble

Yes I caught adults and kits
Had 3 got from a buddies house across the street from me to so 6 in less than a week
Evidently they had a den close
Poison is a bad call where other domestic animals live
Look for a small hole or digging marks around your pen and set a leg trap or snare
Other wise live traps are all you got really and a smart fox is tough to get into it
You need to keep scent off of it and cover it to look like natural surroundings
If you have a supply store or trappers supply they will have gland scents to attract them
Be very understanding that in either way you catch an adult fox its not going to be in a good mood when you catch it so be careful or call local animal shelters and they can tell you who to call
Should be a nuisance trapper you can talk to

We are having the same problem right now also. A grey fox got in one of my tractors and killed 4 Buff pullets. He ended up digging under, I didn't have a skirt around it yet. I can only surround part of my pens with electric fencing, but someone told us to use moth balls. We made a rope out of netting and put the moth balls inside of it and tie it around the tractor at night. Of course we also got the baby monitor and .22 ready.

I wonder if the Land Lord would remove the fox by deystroying it or I wonder if you could flood their burrow.
