Spring Granny Square Swap

Good garden o' peas! No one told me about "Crochetcentral.com. they have tons of square patterns and most of them 6". I think I've picked on out. I've got a library of books but this makes it easy.

Betty~ Yep, have to agree that there is no shame being able to do a man's job or vise versa. People look at me and can't believe I drive our big tractor. I wish I had more construction skills. Maybe once DD goes to college I'll have more time to experiment doing some things I want to learn. I did help DH install new wood floors in DD's room before Christmas. I'm spoiled b/c my DH is so good at all those kind of things, but I need to help take up the slack b/c he's extremely too busy w/ work to do all the things I want done around here.

Rancher~ No shame doing something you enjoy. Good for you being secure enough to not care, b/c it's harder than it looks. People get so stereotypical sometimes. More people should take it up. I find it so relaxing & rewarding! Glad you found some yarn you like. I'm getting excited about getting some new yarn tomorrow.

Sunny~ I think it's very cool that crocheting keeps the brain healthy. I need all the help I can get.

I get distracted easily!

Like right now cruising around BYC instead of the dreaded cleaning. Things really piled up w/ all of us being home over a long weekend. If it makes your hubby feel any better tell him that our DD use to always go to my DH when she needed a stuff animal mended.

here's the yarn. the shades may be a little off due to lighting but you get the idea. The new looking skeins are a green and blue like Baustins. The blue looks more torquiose but it's more baby blue. Some of this I had as you can tell like the lavender.

Here's the new square. The green is more of a mint than what is appearing and the outer lavender is a little darker. Is this ok? I tried to go with the lighter end of the color wheel, but it is hard.

Writer I will save any unacceptable and send them to you, if you'd like.
