Spring Granny Square Swap

OK I pmed Betty last night to get her address so I can mail mine today. I have 34 squares right now so enough for 2 sets and maybe some left over if a couple of folks dropped out. Unfortunately I have to head into town in an hour and haven't heard from her yet. I checked the first page and the address is not there. I don't have time to go through 90 pages to hunt for it. Anybody else have it? If you do can you please pm her address to me so I can get these in the mail?

Just sent you a pm w/ what I believe is Betty's address. It's what I had for the fall swap. I hope it's correct. Let me know. I have to finish some stuff around the house and then I'll pop mine in the mail on the way to the shop.

Just a heads up on the latest. I PM'd the six people signed up with the rest of us that we haven't heard from so will have to wait and see what comes of that. All I can do now is wait for answers and watch for all the boxes of goodies that are on the way. You should have my address by now. I wasn't on here yesterday so I'm a little behind. Sorry about that. Now I have to get ready for a board meeting for our local quilt guild. I think I heard the timer for my dinner. Will check back later this evening or in the morning to see if there are any updates.

Betty~ I mailed mine off late this afternoon and enclosed return postage for the medium rectangular flat rate box. YIPPEEEE!!!

Ahhhh! It feels so good to get them done and mailed! Now I just want to relax and not think about crochet for awhile. However several folks have asked me when I plan to start the next swap so I thought I would get some advice here. I liked the fact that this thread started early. It gave folks time to see the thread and get signed up and I also liked the 2 months to complete the project.

The question is should I start the new thread as soon as we wrap things up here or should we wait awhile? 2 months for sign ups and 2 months to complete squares puts us into September if we start now. And judging by the crochet thread a lot of folks don't like to crochet when it is really hot. School will be starting around then too so that may be a consideration as well.

We don't have to stick with 2 months lead time however. We could let people know as far in advance as we'd like. Anyway let me know what y'all think. Thanks!

Believe it or not I worked on DD's huge afghan tonight. It looks like it's going to take me forever to finish it. It just goes on, on & On......

Ok,, our status! I had to get Betty's address, then left the name tags in the classroom! So yesterday we were putting the little tags on the squares with the names of students, of course since we've been putting them all in a big box no one is positive who made what so they have a name,, and we hope it's the right person on it. Our box wasn't big enough, I need to get a box and wasn't at school during the day because I had to go to a chiropractor,, man,, whew! We should have a box tomorrow, so they will be packed and on the way Thurs. I apologize for the lateness,, and the loss of my mind!
