Spring Granny Square Swap

Smitty's Farm :

Here's the color wheel showing the difference between the cool & warm colors that was posted on one of the other crochet threads: I don't know how to post it where it shows big, so you will have to click on the link to see it. I absolutely loved having a color palette to go by for the last swap.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for posting the color wheel. I hadn't had a chance to look for it. I need all the help I can get and I think everyone will keep me in line.

Canesisters, You make as many blocks as the number of people that sign up. Writerofwords class is going to join us so it may be close to the deadline of Feb. 28th before we have the full number. I'll add additional sign ups as I receive them. Some people get done early and make extra suares. That's entirely up to you though.

The pink I have is just on the wrong side of the wheel, so I'm not going to use it. I made one square which had pink, and I'm going to take it apart and replace it with light blue. I'll stick with blues, greens and lighter purple/lavendar. Your spelling is very good. I don't think I would know how to change something on the title of a thread.

I've never posted anything like this before so I'm a newby. I just kept looking until I figured it out.

Can we use any yellow? A lot of spring flowers are yellow. It's ok if we can't, I was just wondering

I think that since yellow is on the warm side of the wheel we shouldn't use it even though a lot of spring flowers are yellow.

I picked out my pattern! Can't wait until all of my Christmas gifts are done so I can start in the squares
