That is awesome, our BO roo is good with his girls but not so much with people. He usually stays away but sometimes he will come at you. I'm thinking we need to find a new rooster!
Yeah I got sick of not being able to turn my back on him. He didn't come after me too often but I got tired of watching over my shoulder. When he almost killed my goose I finally had enough and he went into the soup pot. My lavender Roo doesn't come up to me looking for treats but he doesn't show any aggression either. He just hangs back and watches.

Unless it's a really rare breed, I have decided I won't put up with getting spurred. It hurts! Lol

Question- To tell chickies apart i was thinking about putting tiny zip-ties on their legs (obviously not very tight) OR using Reusable Fastening Velcro Cable Ties with Microfiber Cloth

Has anyone done this before or have input?

Good Morning! I have lots of little guinea keets hatching out this morning, will post pics when they finish drying off.

How fun! Very exciting!

I think I'm going to start setting them so that day 21 is a Friday, and I am off at work, because watching them externally pip and then waiting and waiting and waiting is pure torture!!! (4 externally pipped right now, and can't stand it!!!!)
