  How are you locking down, are you hatching with the eggs standing up if they have bad air cells?

On the shipped eggs how do the Air Cells look? Do you let them settle for 24 hours? 

Ruptured or saddle shaped but by lockdown they look great (though a little funky still)! I let them set for at least 20 hours.

That's just weird that your own eggs hatch, but shipped eggs don't. Have you gotten eggs from different people?

Yes. Two sets from two different people.

Went into lockdown last night. Humidity is at 60-62% in the past 8-9 hrs since I left, but hovered around 57-59% all yesterday evening/night. Have always struggled with the humidity in past hatches......so this really, really makes me nervous all over again. Have both water wells filled to rim as well as washcloths and thick paper towels wicking it up and under the black basket of the Brinsea.

House humidity is definitely drier- I don't have a spare hygrometer. Wood stove was lit this AM and but it restarted raining as well.....will just do my best.

I can't wait to see them!!!! I LOVE my silkies!!!! Never knew about paints until last fall! I HAVE got to have some!!!!!! I hope you have a great hatch!
