So my BLRW eggs are on their way!!!! I am super excited. I am just waiting g to hear back on some silkie eggs I won.

I'll be setting 41 eggs in just a couple days when I have enough eggs. I'll be heating up the bator and getting it set on the correct temp. tomorrow.
I need 9 hen ducklings so I can stop playing with the incubator. . and start raising my new puppy instead-- arriving Saturday!

Had you calibrated thermometers and hygrometers?

You know temps need to be run higher for a model without a fan and never run under 99.5 with a fan?

You understand humidity is not a set number its a tool to get the correct weight loss?

Ok, I'm officially set for April. I have chicks hatching on 4/1, 4/5 and 4/16. I have 3 more sets of eggs being shipped the next week or two. So, I'm sure I'll have additional eggs to set!

I can afford to give you half a duck, but it's a happy half... I had a house duck for years, she was perfect. She actually didn't care for water much. Silly Muscovy. I had four dogs most of the time, then 5 with her plus occasional fosters and they learned to like her or at least be indifferent & go play somewhere else when she was out running around. It helps when you're always supervising. House ducks are like sweet, fluffy toddlers...but cute.

I just put 27 eggs in our incubator!! This is only our second hatch and we made modifications to the incubator - added a fan this year. Fingers crossed this doesn't go wrong, though at least I don't have any money invested in this hatch. Still I want lots of chickies to hatch!

Just bought some Serama eggs from the Artimus line as my first hatch of the year. I've had fair luck with shipped eggs, so hopefully I'll get at least a few fluffies. We'll see!
