I do not understand what is meant by a malpostion under the air cell is both and internal and external pip.

The majority are on the smaller or larger size? perhaps run at 40 and recandle day 12, IF the majority are smaller

Yes the majority are smaller. I am having a hard time getting my humidity below 50! I don't know what the deal is. The bator is dry right now.

Ok pretty sure I need to help this chick,external pip this morning and still isn't zipping. Beak is out chirping and breathing. The air cell is on top. Membrane looks clear when moistened. Can I use Neosporin generic? With out pain reliever on the membrane?I have read all the info about assisting. If they don't need to eat or drink for a couple of days should I just leave it alone? 4 others have hatched out..

Definitely give it more time. I had one pip yesterday morning at about 10 and it just came out 10 minutes ago at 10:40 pm the next day. It is nice and healthy too.

I have had them take so long to zip, and others do it so fast. If baby can breathe alright, I try to leave them alone.
